Conductor & Music Director Gregory Burton

Gregory Burton is an established leader in the fields of music performance and education in Canada.
As an orchestral, wind and brass conductor, Mr. Burton has conducted some of the world’s finest musicians. He has lead ensembles that have included members of the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony, The Vancouver Symphony, The Toronto Symphony, The National Arts Centre Orchestra, the Winnipeg Symphony and Quebec Symphony.
Formerly Resident Conductor of Symphony Nova Scotia, he conducted that orchestra in over 250 performances from 1991-2003. Mr. Burton’s guest conducting engagements include Symphony New Brunswick, Opera New Brunswick, the McMaster Chamber Orchestra, the University of Toronto Wind and Brass Ensembles, and the Brandon University Orchestra.
He has recorded often for both CBC radio and television.
